About George Davies

George graduated from Nottingham Law School in 2017 before completing his Legal Practice Course and acquiring a Masters degree in Law at Birmingham City Law School, achieving distinction grades in both.

Relocating from the West Midlands, George completed his training at a boutique specialist family law firm in North London, where he assisted senior lawyers on predominantly high-value financial remedy litigation in addition to complex children’s work. In addition to running his own caseload of financial remedy, children, and injunction applications.

Upon qualification, George made the leap to taking on the responsibility of leading and developing the family department at Sanders Witherspoon LLP in Billericay Essex.

George has experience not only of handling cases involving highly complex asset bases, but also those where the only asset is the family home.

His interest in children work has seen George take on and relish the task of assisting parents in cases involving children where there are allegations of drug and alcohol abuse, as well complex allegations of harm including parental alienation and sexual abuse. In addition, George also has extensive experience in obtaining protecting clients from abuse through obtaining injunctions under the Family Law Act.

Outside of work, George is a keen runner, recently completing the Brighton, Paris and Prague marathons for various charities including Alzheimer’s UK and The London and South East Legal Support Trust.
