Injunctions to prevent assets being removed or dissipated

There may be circumstances where a client may have reason to believe or suspect that their spouse/civil partner has disposed of assets in order to defeat a potential claim by them in respect of such assets (or suspects that an attempt will be made shortly to dispose of such assets).

 Disposal could be by way of sale of the assets and concealment of the sale proceeds or the removal of such assets out of the jurisdiction of the Court. 

It is possible to apply to the Court on an emergency basis (and therefore without giving advance notice to the partner) for appropriate orders preventing disposal of such assets freezing the sale proceeds of such assets, or even setting aside any disposition if necessary.
